Peter has always loved gaming and to him, growing up, gaming was an escape from reality. Today, a lot of young people are using gaming as the same coping mechanism as he did and some of them are becoming incredibly talented in their game.
The digitalization and virtualization of our society allow gamers massive exposure, which is lucrative for commercialization. It is also an ethical mine field because commercial powers considers exposure and numbers, not the gamer or streamers process of achieving those numbers.
In 2021, Peter joined the Norwegian esports club Vanir, and they work closely together, focusing on mental health aspects of the gaming world. Through esports in Vanir he is privileged to work 1-on-1 with young talent, helping them to achieve their goals through sustainable processes tailored to their unique situation.
